Nicholas Lormand is studying 3D animation at the University of Texas at Dallas, aiming to graduate with an undergraduate degree in Arts and Technology and a minor in Computer Science. His focus is on tool development and rigging for animation. His other interests include UX/UI research and design, service design, web development, and graphic design. He is passionate about cartoons, music, esports, and his dog-like cat.
As a UX/UI researcher and designer of the lab, he researches into the user base of Creative Disturbance to design a more usable site. Researching consists of reading, conducting usability tests and interviews on users, and inspecting competing companies. His goal is to redesign the site to automate processes for all users and to strengthen the communication between the Creative Disturbance team and the content producers.
